ABSTRACT PIECES

These pieces developed out of a need to do the "opposite" of what I was doing with my other style - I sometimes need a restbite from small, focused, clinical detail. What I found was, everything I'd learnt about colour application and manipluation from my other style was completely applicable to this way of working. And in letting go and focusing only one the colour and not the details, I discovered little ideas, theories and techniques that I could apply to the other style. Both bodies of work propell each other along nicely.
