Since a big part of what I do revolves around letting the painting develop as it wants to develop, I tend to favour requests with minimal information. Just give me one object (alive or inanimate) and let me go wild — my style lends itself perfectly to this.
When I worked as a tattoo artist I designed pieces for people on a daily basis. I found that when people knew exactly how they wanted it to look down to every detail, part of me used to think "why don't you draw it then?" The one word commission thing was born as a result of this years later. You give me the subject matter, I'll do my thing. It's a good arrangement.
That being said, the "one word" aspect isn't set in stone, it's just my preference. Feel free to send me more specific and detailed requests — yours might be the one that changes my mind. And above all else it's just nice to hear from you.
